How RemoteLink works
RemoteLink connects two Android phones that belong to the same account. There are no codes to exchange: sign in on both phones and they appear in each other's device list right away. From there, one phone can view and control the other — always with the owner's on-screen approval.
1. Create your account
Sign up once with your username, email, phone number and a password. Use that same account on every phone you want to reach — the account is what links them together.
2. Add your devices
Install the app and sign in on each phone. Each device registers itself under your account with its name, model and Android version, and reports whether it is online, along with battery and network status, so you always know what's reachable.
3. Grant permissions on the phone being controlled
The controlled phone needs two Android permissions: screen sharing, and the RemoteLink accessibility service that replays taps and swipes. Android asks for both explicitly, and you can turn either off at any time from system settings.
4. Start a session
Pick a device from your list and request control. The other phone shows an Allow / Reject prompt naming the requesting device. Once allowed, the live screen appears and your taps, swipes, scrolls, typing and Back / Home / Recents buttons are applied directly on the remote phone.
5. Quality on any network
The video quality adjusts itself continuously to your connection — sharp and smooth on good Wi-Fi, and still responsive on weak mobile data. Input is prioritised over video, so control stays immediate even when the picture is compressing.
6. Staying in control
Only one phone can control a device at a time. The controlled phone always shows a visible "remote control active" indicator while a session is live, and either side can end it instantly — the controller with Emergency stop, the owner with Stop remote session. Every session start and stop is recorded in your activity log.
Privacy
Screen video travels directly between your two phones whenever possible, and sessions are never silent: control cannot begin without an explicit approval on the device being controlled.
